Impressed by the world of PR Iona McCaie joined impress in January 2008.

After travelling the world Iona decided to get back into academia and all things English and three years later she graduated with a 2:1 (BA hons) degree in English Literature and Theatre.

After dabbling in the Sales industry and very quickly working out that this definitely was not the career for her, she decided to follow her passion for exceptional food and drink. Entering the restaurant trade in a bid to learn and develop her enthusiasm and skill for cooking great food and drinking fabulous wine, she began to work with the Events, PR and Marketing side of restaurants. It became clear that this is where she wanted to focus her attentions and energy, and so the quest for a full time PR role began.

A month or two later and she was happily sat in front of a computer desk at impress PR with a blank Word document on the screen and a lot of ideas inside her!
